Pregnancy means you or someone in your life is pregnant with something (a new life, a new idea, a project, etc). When author's write and publish books, they refer to it as giving birth. So usually it means something new is developing. This can be something that you are working on internally and hasn't made it out to the world yet (as if it is developing inside and has yet to be born).  So, first, consider what in your life you may be nurturing to grow and then if nothing occurs to you, look outside of yourself to your circle of friends and family.

And of course, sometimes pregnancy in a dream could mean that you or someone you know is pregnant. This may happen if you have picked up unconsciously (or consciously) on messages from your body or from someone around you.
